The Grounds is a year-round entertainment, convention and commercial venue home to several of the Gulf Coast’s largest events. With more than one million annual attendees to our campus, we are a leader in the area of community development.
The activity at The Grounds is not limited to the 10 days of the annual Greater Gulf State Fair. We host events of all sizes, year-round. The Grounds has the opportunity to host everything from fellow non-profits and their respective events to concerts, expositions, corporate events, carnival balls, festivals, and community service projects. In addition, The Grounds and our board, staff, and volunteers plan and implement numerous in-house events from concerts to 5k's.
Our 160-acre property is located in West Mobile at the intersection of Cody Road and Zeigler Boulevard. The indoor and outdoor facilities are available for almost every type of event imaginable, no matter how large or small. The property is completely fenced for privacy and access control with paved parking for 1,000 vehicles and total parking for up to 5,000 vehicles. A covered drive allows protected loading and unloading of passengers to Hocklander Hall, Exhibit Hall, the Concourse, the Ballroom, and the Grand Ballroom.
The Grounds also has the capacity to host 200+ campers/RVs via camper/RV individual hook ups around the campus. We can also provide production/sound/stage equipment, catering, security, sanitation/clean up, and an in-house advertising agency via The Grounds’ staff and contractors.
